Aesthetic possibilities with the Initial family - How to achieve natural effects with minimal efforts

Master Course on GC Initial LiSi Family by Stefan Roozen
GC Europe N.V., Belgium
14-15th June 2018

The symbiosis between Initial LiSi & Initial LiSi Press extends the circle of the Initial family and creates aesthetic possibilities with a new dimension. This Hands-On Course aims to demonstrate the versatility of the LiSi Press system.

Course description

During the build up of an anterior case it will be demonstrated how highly aesthetic results can be achieved through different approaches. Step by step, the individual stages from the framework design to the finished restoration will be worked out. The participants will be taught the knowledge behind the different levels of transparency of the material and their impact on the achievement of natural results. The used layering technique follows nature and creates a seamless transition from material to natural structures.

As well as achieving great effects with minimal effort, the hands-on course will touch upon the following additional points:

  • Press parameters and processing of LiSi PressVest
  • Selection of the correct press ingot
  • Staining technique and characterization with Lustre Pastes NF
  • Cut-back technique and internal customization
  • Combining Initial LiSi Press with Initial LiSi veneering ceramics
  • Natural analogue layering technique
